Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of the Cookware and Bakeware Alliance family! Carefully read the information below and fill out the application below to get started with the process of becoming a member.   


About Membership


Who is the CBA?

The Cookware & Bakeware Alliance (CBA) is a vital housewares trade association, delivering critical industry resources as a voice of authority and influence uniting the industry by setting engineering standards for product and consumer safety. The CBA builds industry excellence through engineering, engagement, education, and expertise.


What is expected of members?

All CBA Members must:

  • Be dedicated to industry importance, excellence and unity. 
  • Meet minimum Engineering Standards and prioritize consumer safety. 
  • Fulfill Code of Ethics for fairness and honesty in all business relations, product quality, product information, competitive practices and environmental stewardship. 
  • Share information to strengthen industry.
  • Recognize membership in CBA.
  • Engage in CBA mission and benefits.

Dues for Membership

New member dues are prorated based on the membership start date following the board vote on their application.

Associate Member: $1,500 per year

General Member: Revenue Range / Annual Dues

  • $0 to <$5 Million / $2,000 per year
  • $5 to <$15 Million / $5,000 per year
  • $15 to <$30 Million / $8,000 per year
  • $30 to <$50 Million / $12,000 per year
  • >$50 Million / $17,000 per year

Supplier Member: $6,000 per year

Retailer Member: $6,000 per year

Associate Membership is open to all persons, firms, or corporations of good standing, engaged in the manufacture for sale of cooking and/or baking utensils or accessories, who have not yet met all of the requirements to be a General Member but otherwise are in compliance with the terms and conditions of the Articles of Incorporation. An Associate Member has established a financial, operational, or marketing presence in the cookware and/or bakeware market in the United States or Canada but has not yet achieved all of the General Membership requirements. Associate Members may, upon completion of all the requirements of a General Member, apply for General Membership status.

General Membership (Manufacturers/Brand Owners) in the Alliance is open to all persons, firms or corporations of good standing, engaged in the manufacture for sale of cooking and/or baking utensils or accessories, or who have a significant financial, operational, and marketing presence in the cookware and/or bakeware market in the United States or Canada and are in compliance with the terms and conditions of the Articles of Incorporation. 

Revenue Range / Annual Dues
  • $0 to <$5 Million / $2,000 per year
  • $5 to <$15 Million / $5,000 per year
  • $15 to <$30 Million / $8,000 per year
  • $30 to <$50 Million / $12,000 per year
  • >$50 Million / $17,000 per year


Retailer Membership is opened to persons, firms, or corporations of good standing engaged in the sale of cookware and/or bakeware, that have a significant financial, operational, and marketing presence in the cookware and/or bakeware market in the United States or Canada.

Supplier Membership is opened to persons, firms, or corporations of good standing engaged in supplying to or supporting the manufacture of cooking and/or baking utensils or accessories, upon compliance with the terms of the Articles of Incorporation. Supplier shall be defined as providing components, manufacturing equipment, logistical and technical direction, or direct control or supervision of the manufacturing process. Consultants to the industry that do not have direct control or supervision of the manufacturing process, procurement of components, or design processes are not eligible for a Supplier membership.
